Darren joined Catapult as our Digital Creative Director.

He holds a BS in visual communications design from Purdue University.

Darren began his professional career as a graphic and Web designer at Kingswood Advertising/Backe Communications, working on a variety of accounts, including Novartis. He ultimately became creative director at Marcolina Design, where he was involved in extensive project management and team coordination, in addition to developing motion titles, motivational short videos, and uplifting soundtracks for trade shows.

He spent the past 5 years on the commercial pharmaceutical side as an Account and Design Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, and lastly as the Creative Director/Web Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb. At BMS, he managed an on-site team of designers, developers, and project managers and routinely interfaced with staff copywriters and account executives to develop, and ultimately execute, creative concepts.

Some of the clients he has worked with include Pfizer, AstraZeneca, FedEx, Choice Hotels, Honeywell, McKesson Health Solutions, RICOH, AT&T, National Geographic, BMW, Reader’s Digest, The X-Prize, and Swatch.
